Product Customisation & Sizing:

Can I customise the size or design of my bed?

Yes, nearly all our beds can be tailored to your specifications. Whether you're adjusting the headboard height, selecting storage type, or choosing from a wide range of fabrics, we’ll build it to match your space and style.

Do you offer non-standard or oversized bed sizes?

Absolutely. We offer bespoke sizing options beyond the UK standard, including extra-long or extra-wide beds. Just let us know your dimensions at the time of order.

How do I know what bed size is right for my room?

We recommend measuring your room layout carefully, allowing space around the bed for walking and furniture. Upgrading from a double to a king can make a big difference in comfort with minimal extra space used.

It's content strategy gone awry right from the start. Forswearing the use of Lorem Ipsum wouldn't have helped, won't help now. It's like saying you're a bad designer, use less bold text, don't use italics in every other paragraph. True enough, but that's not all that it takes to get things back on track.

What are the standard UK bed sizes you offer?

We offer all standard UK sizes including:

  • Single: 3ft x 6ft 3in (90 x 190 cm)
  • Small Double: 4ft x 6ft (120 x 190 cm)
  • Double: 4ft 6in x 6ft 3in (135 x 190 cm)
  • King: 5ft x 6ft 6in (150 x 200 cm)
  • Super King: 6ft x 6ft 6in (180 x 200 cm)
Can I customise the headboard height or shape?

Yes, headboard height, width, and design details can be adjusted. This is particularly helpful for taller ceilings or tighter spaces. Just specify your requirements before production.

Can I choose my own fabric and colour?

Yes, we offer a wide range of fabric types and colours — from crushed velvet to linen to chenille. You can also order free fabric samples before making your final choice.

What if I change my mind after selecting a fabric or size?

If production hasn’t started, we can usually accommodate changes. Please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order to request an update.

Do you offer made-to-measure beds for awkward spaces?

Yes, whether you need a low-profile bed for a loft, a compact frame for small rooms, or something oversized for a statement space, we’ll tailor the dimensions to fit. Contact our 24/7 support for details.

Can I customise storage options like ottoman or drawers?

Definitely. You can choose from ottoman lift-up storage, side or end drawers, or no storage at all. We’ll build the frame with the configuration that suits your needs.

How do I request a custom design or layout?

Just reach out to our support team before placing your order. Share your desired dimensions, fabric, storage preferences, or a reference photo, and we’ll confirm feasibility and pricing.

Bed Types & Features

What types of bed frames do you offer?

We offer a wide range of bed styles including Ottoman, Divan, Platform, Wingback, Sleigh, and TV beds. Each comes with unique features like built-in storage, elegant headboards, or tech-friendly designs.

What is the difference between a platform bed and a divan bed?

A platform bed has a minimalist, raised base with slats or a flat surface, while a divan bed is a boxy, upholstered base, often with storage drawers—and usually lower to the ground. Divans are ideal for maximising under-bed storage.

What are the benefits of an ottoman bed?

Ottoman beds offer lift-up storage under the mattress, using a gas-lift mechanism. They're perfect for small spaces or anyone wanting to keep clutter out of sight without losing floor space.

Are TV beds worth it?

TV beds offer comfort, tech integration, and space efficiency. The footboard houses a hidden TV lift, making it ideal for binge-watching without the need for extra furniture or wall mounts.

What sizes are TV beds available in?

Our TV beds are available in Double (4'6"), King (5ft), and Super King (6ft) sizes. Always check the product details for TV compatibility and max dimensions. You can also contact our support for details.

Do TV beds come with a TV included?

Our TV beds do not include a television, allowing you to use your own if it fits the specs. Product pages clearly list TV size compatibility and maximum dimensions.

What kind of storage options do different beds provide?

Divan beds usually offer built-in drawers. Ottoman beds provide full under-mattress storage. Some platform or sleigh beds also come with side or foot-end drawers.

Which type of bed frame is most sturdy?

Platform-topped or divan base beds tend to be the most robust, thanks to their solid construction. They offer full mattress support without gaps, reducing wear over time.

What’s the difference between a wingback and a sleigh bed?

A wingback bed features vertical “wings” on the headboard, adding drama and elegance. A sleigh bed curves at both the headboard and footboard, evoking a more traditional, luxurious feel.

Can I choose storage or no-storage versions of each bed?

Yes, most of our bed frames can be customised with your preferred storage configuration, whether that’s lift-up storage, drawers, or a clean no-storage base.

Mattress Guidance

What types of mattresses do you offer?

We offer a range of mattresses including Orthopaedic Spring Foam, Pocket Sprung (1000 & 2000), Pillow Top, Cool Gel Memory Foam, and combinations of springs and memory foam to suit all sleep preferences.

What is the difference between pocket sprung and memory foam mattresses?

Pocket sprung mattresses offer individual support through wrapped coils that move independently, reducing motion transfer. Memory foam contours to your body, providing pressure relief and cradling support.

What is an orthopaedic mattress and who should use it?

Orthopaedic mattresses are firmer by design and offer targeted back and joint support. They’re ideal for people with posture issues or those who prefer a firmer sleep surface.

Bed Buying Advice

What bed size should I choose?

It depends on your space and sleeping habits. For two adults, we recommend a King (5ft) or Super King (6ft) for comfortable, undisturbed sleep. Even a slight upgrade from Double (4ft 6in) can make a big difference.

How do I know which bed type is right for me?

 Consider your needs:

  • For extra storage, choose an Ottoman or Divan.
  • For style and impact, consider a Wingback or Sleigh bed.
  • For tech integration, go with a TV bed.

Still unsure? Reach out — we’re happy to guide you.

Does bed height matter?

Yes, higher beds can feel more luxurious and are easier for taller people to get in and out of. Lower beds suit compact rooms and minimalist styles. Choose what’s comfortable and complements your space.

Will a firm bed help with back pain?

Not always. The right support is key, not necessarily firmness. Orthopaedic mattresses offer targeted support, while medium-firm options often provide a balance of comfort and alignment.

Should I replace my base when buying a new mattress?

Ideally, yes. Bases wear down like mattresses and can affect support. Buying both together ensures optimal performance and avoids voiding mattress warranties.

How long should a good bed last?

A quality bed frame can last 10+ years, and mattresses around 7–10 years, depending on use and maintenance. If you wake up sore or see sagging, it’s likely time for an upgrade.

What’s more important: the bed frame or the mattress?

Both play a role. The frame provides structural support and storage, while the mattress determines comfort and spine alignment. They work best together when chosen to suit your needs.

How can I try out a bed if I’m buying online?

We provide detailed product descriptions, dimensions, and fabric samples. If you have questions, our support team can help match you with the right product.

What if I have limited space?

Consider beds with built-in storage (like ottoman or drawer divan beds), opt for a low headboard to avoid crowding, and measure carefully before ordering. Our team can help with recommendations.

Do children need special types of beds?

Yes, kids need supportive beds too. Choose sturdy frames that can handle jumping, with firm yet comfortable mattresses for growing bodies. For small rooms, storage beds are a great option.
